This week we started our monthly brainstorming call for virtual assistants. We invite you to join us and brainstorm ideas for your business challenges with both experienced and newer virtual assistants. October’s call included 14 virtual assistants from around the world – from California to New York, British Columbia to Quebec, Spain and Sweden. Not only did we have fun meeting fellow virtual assistants, we all came away with ideas to use in our business.
Here are some of the challenges we brainstormed:
- Feelings of isolation and how to adjust to working alone
- The challenges of working with our children around
- Keeping up with social media
- How we can explain the value of a virtual assistant and educating prospects about what we do
- Driving traffic to our ezine
- Scheduling and time management
- How to focus
- Determining a niche
- Finding clients online
Though we didn’t have time to go into each of these in detail, we touched on them and scheduled individual follow up calls to discuss the challenges further. These topics will also be addressed at the CVO Source. If you aren’t already a member, sign up now!
